Every photo and clip on this page is from a job carried out by the Reactive team — no stock images, no manufacturer marketing shots. The gallery is grouped by the type of work so you can see exactly the standard we hold ourselves to on heat pumps, boilers, services, bathrooms and general plumbing.
We cover roughly a 25-mile radius from Corby — Kettering, Desborough, Rothwell, Oundle, Market Harborough, Wellingborough, Oakham, Stamford and Peterborough — and most of the properties shown here are 1930s–1990s family homes with the typical mix of original pipework, retrofits and quirky layouts. If you'd like to talk to any of the customers featured, ask us — almost all of them are happy to be a reference.
If your job isn't represented below it doesn't mean we don't do it. Underfloor heating, unvented cylinder upgrades, gas cooker installs, leak detection and emergency call-outs are everyday work for us and we simply don't always have the camera out.
Heat Pump Installations
Air source heat pump installs across Rutland and Northamptonshire — full system designs with weather compensation, low-loss headers where required, and MCS-aligned commissioning. Each install includes a heat-loss calculation, radiator/emitter sizing review and a handover walk-through so the homeowner knows exactly how to run the system efficiently from day one.
Boiler Installations
Worcester Bosch Accredited installs — Greenstar 4000 and 8000 combis and system boilers — with full power-flush, magnetic filter, scale reducer where needed and 10–12 year guarantee registered on the day. We replace tired tank-fed systems, swap out failed back-boilers, and convert to high-efficiency combis without ripping the house apart.
Boiler Service & Repairs
Annual services, fault-finding and repairs on gas, LPG and oil boilers. We carry the most common spares (PCBs, pumps, diverter valves, fans, expansion vessels) on the van so most jobs are fixed in a single visit. Every service includes a flue-gas analysis printout and a written report — no upselling, just what the boiler actually needs.
Bathroom Installations
Full bathroom refits — first-fix pipework, waste runs, soil-stack alterations, second-fix sanitaryware and tile-ready hand-overs. We work alongside trusted local tilers and electricians or coordinate the whole project end-to-end. Recent jobs include walk-in shower conversions, family bathroom refurbishments and en-suite installs in older Northants properties.
Plumbing & Pipework
Pipework upgrades, leak repairs, mains-pressure improvements, outside taps, stopcock replacements and pressure-reducing valves. A lot of older properties around Corby, Stamford and Oakham still run on aged copper or imperial-sized pipework — we re-route, isolate and modernise without unnecessary disruption.
